The passionate artistic friendship between the Liszt Ferenc Chamber Orchestra and the soloist of this concert began in 2018, capturing the hearts of Hungarian audiences from the very start. Cosima Soulez-Larivière achieved remarkable success as the winner of the 1st International Bartók Competition, leaving an unforgettable impression with her ethereal and magical violin playing. The following year, the orchestra invited her for a joint performance in Budapest, and since then, their paths have crossed multiple times at international venues.

Now, in another joyful reunion before the Budapest audience, they perform one of the most beloved violin concertos of the Romantic repertoire.

The concert opens with a Rachmaninoff fragment, promising a truly unique musical experience. In the second half, the Liszt Ferenc Chamber Orchestra once again ascends to the heights of chamber music artistry with a symphonic interpretation of one of Schubert’s emblematic string quartets.
